This pole is targeted to help the blind people. A pole with braille on it to help the blind read what bus is avalible at the particular bus stop. The buttons beside the braille letterings are to let the blind press it and then the pole will automatically know which bus number to announce as the bus is approaching. The pole will announce where the bus will stop at and how long will it  take to arrive at that location.
